Ladies Fun & Fitness made a difference in my life.....
I have never found it easy to stay in shape. I am not fond of video work-outs (although I own several collections), and I don't have the time required to go to a gym that involves a program geared towards stopping and changing weights after every exercise (having grudgingly attempted this at several desperate intervals). I have been 130 lbs, and I have been 186 lbs, lingering for long stretches at the higher end of that spectrum. I have sustained several serious injuries that have left me immobile for lengthy period of time, eating everything in sight while watching predictably mediocre day-time T.V. from my prone position on the couch. For most of my adult life, I have been immersed in the hated cycle of repeatedly gaining and losing the same weight and losing muscle mass to fat, then struggling with the arduous and seemingly unattainable task of getting in shape.
Then in January 2006, something wonderful happened. Ladies Fun & Fitness opened in Kaslo. Finally a work-out that accommodated my fitness requirements. A program that was already planned. A program that I controlled by the level of intensity and commitment that I was willing to put forth. A program that I could do without any planning. In half an hour!!! I signed up immediately. I quit smoking a month later. I lost 18lbs and 18 inches. I lost body fat. I gained muscle. I felt good. Then great. Healthier. Stronger.
A year later, and it all still holds true. I feel better that I ever remember.
Thank-you Wanda, Wendy and Lil for a work-out that works! (The tanning bed and infrared sauna are pretty awesome too). (Pauline A)
A Ladies Fun & Fitness success story, 16 months, 34 inches and 15 pounds later.
Thank you for your help and encouragement

Wanda ~ You have such a way of welcoming people into Ladies Fun & Fitness and for making each one feel they are so very special and funny and interesting. I love coming in (honestly) and just wanted to say thank you for being you, cause you're the reason I keep coming back. (Jackie M)
