The concept of group exercise is not new. Fitness centers have been using the group exercise format for many years under many names (dance aerobics, step classes, cycling programs, etc.). The principle is very simple; it is more fun to work out with your friends. Fun and camaraderie are key elements to the success of any group program. Equally important is the supervision, motivation and inspiration from the instructor.

The benefits of this program over other group exercise programs are numerous. Intimidation is perhaps the #1 reason people do not join health clubs in the first place and certainly a key reason why many members do not participate in a program requiring skill or coordination. We require no skill; anyone at any fitness level can do the program and enjoy result very quickly! The major results they will notice within a few weeks will be a change in body compostition; that is, inches lost. It will develop a stronger, leaner muscle while body fat is lost. The goal of most people who consider joining a health club is to tone up and lose fat.

Although it is a non-intimidating program and appeals to the deconditioned markets, you will find that your very fit members will love it. A fit member is obviously capable of pushing harder and faster than an unfit member; the resistance will match their effort and they will enjoy one of the best workouts they have ever had! It is an excellent cross-training program that your members will incorporate into their regular fitness regiment.
